The Staff
Our office manager and reception staff each have over fifteen years experience at Dr. Judge's office. You will find them knowledgeable and cordial and willing to assist you in many different capacities to make your orthodontic experience pleasant and successful.
The orthodontic staff each has a minimum of ten years working in our office.
Our Schedule
Monday: 8:00am - 5:30pm
Tuesday: 7:30am - 5:30pm
Wednesday: 7:30am - 3:30pm
Thursday:7:30am - 5:30pm
Friday: 7:30am - 12:00pm
Appointments
On average there will be two or three long appointments for actual placement of fixed appliances (braces). One or two other appointments related to installing the braces may be extremely brief. This would be for placing rubber separators next to the teeth that would have the bands which circle the back molars.
Thereafter the appointments are usually spaced four to six weeks apart during the course of the orthodontic care. We try very hard to stay on schedule but frankly it is more difficult in the afternoons once school is out and popular time slots are in demand.
Ours is a full time orthodontic practice so we can make many days and many time slots available each week. Marshfield Orthodontics is a one location practice so you can be sure that the doctor is normally near by and available. Dr. Judge lives nearby and always makes arrangements for professional care coverage in the event that there is an office vacation scheduled.
To accommodate as many students as possible we have office hours before and after schooltime for regular adjustment appointments and other shorter appointments.
For the longer appointments or repair problems we schedule during school hours and avoid unplanned 'walk-ins.' As you can see the less busy and quieter appointment times each day would be during school hours. Many students arrange to walk over from school when there is a study period, lunchtime or recess. The schools are very agreeable to this arrangement and we provide confirmation of appointment slips as the patients leave the office and return to their classes.
In the event you are unable to keep you appointment please contact us at least twenty four hours in advance at 781-837-1351. That appointment time can be given to someone else who may need one very soon. We will be happy to re-appoint you. Should you be calling after hours just leave your name, number and a brief message so that we can return your call in the morning.
Financial
Financial considerations should not be an obstacle to a beautiful smile, and our practice offers several payment options. Monthly installment plans are available, and financing with no initial payment can often be arranged. The cost of treatment will vary from patient to patient, depending on the severity of the orthodontic problem. Our treatment coordinator will work out a plan suited to your individual needs.
Because our goal at all times is to place 'you first' be assured that our orthodontic treatment fees will be reasonable and the manner that they can be budgeted will take your personal needs into account.
Helping you to afford a beautiful smile is now possible with more options to choose from. Monthly installment plans are available and financing with no initial payment may be arranged. The actual cost for orthodontic care will vary among patients depending on how complicated the bite problem may be.
Our experienced staff can work with you to choose which plan is best for you. We also accept VISA and MASTERCARD for your convenience.
Because we have become a real family type of practice we are constantly treating other members of a family. So often the question comes up as to the possibility of making treatment more affordable when more than one family member is seeking care. Dr. Judge will always take this into account so that the additional treatment obligation does not become a burden or a deterrent to pursuing needed care at the most timely moment. It is not at all unusual to see parents and children being treated simultaneously but even more common would be brothers and sisters undergoing treatment at the same time.
Insurance
We will be happy to assist you in filing your orthodontic insurance claim. Please inform us if you have orthodontic insurance coverage so that we can promptly complete and submit it. In this way we can expedite your reimbursement.
All fees are the responsibility of the patient or the family of the patient. When there is insurance coverage the insurance companies generally require submission of a pre-authorization of the claim by our office.
